Geek Uninstaller is a software removal utility that manages installed desktop programs from a single executable file. Its interface lists detected applications and launches their built-in uninstall routines directly from the program list. After the primary removal process finishes, the software runs a Deep Scanning procedure that searches for remaining folders, files, and registry entries linked to the removed application. 

Geek Uninstaller also includes Force Removal for entries that no longer uninstall correctly and supports Microsoft Store App Support for handling Store-based applications. Additional functions include search filtering, program details, installation date display, and export options for installed software inventories.

Software removal begins by calling the application's native uninstaller. Once that process ends, It scans common registry locations and storage paths for remaining traces associated with the selected program. Detected leftovers appear in a separate results window where entries can be reviewed and removed. This approach differs from the standard desktop uninstall process, which typically ends after the vendor-provided uninstaller completes without performing an additional cleanup pass.

Program entries display information such as publisher names, installation dates, and sizes when available. A built-in search field filters entries as text is entered, while export functions generate reports of installed software. The application remains focused on removal and inventory tasks and does not include software updating, startup management, or broader system maintenance tools.
