This diagnostic tool gives you tons of information about every element of your system, such as your CPU, memory (virtual, physical, and swap-file), display drivers, virtual devices, and interrupt-request list. The system information for each category shows up quickly, and most of the benchmarks run smoothly, even when you have other applications running.

We found ourselves wishing for the ability to change attributes and settings, but that is probably beyond the scope of such a program. The standard Explorer-style folder interface makes it easy to access all the information. The arrow keys will only move you up and down the folder list, replacing the information displayed in the main window. The program outputs the system report as an HTML file that mimics the look of the program.

During testing, running a system report took longer than we expected, especially considering how quickly the information shows up in the main program. Otherwise, performance is excellent. Though the program is free, you must register your copy after 11 days and, for some bizarre reason, webmail users like those on Gmail and Yahoo Mail won't be able to receive the registration codes. Gearheads will appreciate the wealth of system information Fresh Diagnose provides, but the webmail issue is a glaring problem.

Don't waste your time

Produces voluminous information about system settings
Cons
The free registration does not work. After several attempts, I always wind up on the same unresponsive page that tells me "the domain is for sale" or "this page is not available"
Summary
I do not trust software from publishers that cannot even make their website work properly.

Some features are free.
Cons
Not all features are free. Confirmation email did not arrive (several attempts), so the registration email did not arrive, so the best features would not work. When I tried contacting the Support email I got no response... not even an auto-response stating they would response within 24 hours. When I checked online reviews I found many poor reviews indicating frustration at not getting a registration key.

Norton Internet Security 2012 wrongly blocks the Fresh Diagnose file. See below.
Summary
Norton Internet Secuirty 2012 WRONGLY identifies this file as "infected" with WS.Viral.1, i.e. "WS.Viral.1 is a cloud based detection for files that are unclassified threats. A file flagged by this detection name is deemed by Symantec to be an unclassified malicious threat and is therefore blocked from accessing the computer." Well, if I could get past Norton Internet Security 2012 flagging and automatically deleting the Fresh Diagnose file.....

Pros
It did show motherboard and drives information without the registration on the latest versions even on 64 bit system.
Cons
I don't get a reg email on any web based mail even paid ones that I can download from. I am getting other ad email to my free account. Thats the one I try to reserve for spam and the one I gave them for sending offers.

I've used this software for years but recently it's been having problems, it reads the wrong information for a lot of the hardware and dumping a system report caused my computer to crash once and more recently it caused my brand new asus mobo to jump to 70c during the dumping process. I suppose for some people this program is useful but I'm done with it.
