Go ahead and get this if you have a WHOLE lot of memory to start out with and run a WHOLE lot of programs. I took it off my computer because it cause more problems then it was worth.

Small Footprint, simple without additional "silliness"

Appears to have a 2048MB (2GB) hardcoded RAM limit.

Memory Optimizers do exactly what they were meant to do, free up ram by forcing DLLs or other extensions out... though I would believe their implementation is rather flawed. Rather than directly modifying ram addresses, they appear to simply "grab" as much memory as possible thus forcing windows to "deal with the problem". These tools are not to increase speed, but increase stability for programs with ever increasing memory footprints... offering more benefits to those who turn off the pagefile. But again, it's for people who TRULY FILL their memory up...

wastes HD space probably frees up ram by paging infrequently used applications

When an application is paged, it is removed from the ram and placed in the pagefile. While this can free up ram, it also slows the applications that are paged because they need to be loaded into the memory again, and therefore not actually clearing ram. While this program might temporarily clear ram, the effect will be undone when you try to access a paged application. I am not saying that that is what this program does, I am saying that that is what most ram optimizers do, and I don't like to use them for that reason.
