FotoWire is an easy-to-use application that allows you to send your digital images (from your camera, CD-ROM, diskette or scanned image) for printing on real photographic paper at a photo lab near you. With over 800 Internet Print Services in 24 countries using the system, the FotoWire application will allow you to choose the laboratory that best meets your needs. Once you have selected your photo lab, the application will display an up-to-date list of products and prices that the lab offers for you to choose from. Simply select the images you want to print, choose the quantity and print sizes/products you want to order and select the shipping and payment method. Once you have reviewed your order, the application automatically transmits the images and your order details to the lab of your choice. In case there is an interruption during the transmission of the order, the FotoWire application features an order resume function. This means that even if an order is interrupted, you can resume the order and will only need to upload the images which were not yet transmitted. If you need to crop your images before sending them, the application includes a simple cropping tool that will allow you to crop your images while keeping the correct length to width ratio of the print size you are ordering. FotoWire gives the user the choice of where his digital images will be printed. Customers from around the world can now choose from major mail-order photo labs and order prints on real photographic paper from digital images and obtain the same quality as those obtained for traditional 35mm prints.
