While floppy disks have gone the way of 8-track tapes, there are still a few holdouts who may find this backup program a helpful tool. FlopImager takes a delicate floppy disk and copies all of its information onto your hard drive. The interface is easy to use and the program's options are few, yet reliable. Copying files from a floppy isn't adequate to capture all the disk's information; FlopImager captures a byte-by-byte image (boot information, etc.) of everything so you can recreate the disk's capabilities on any computer. Copies are saved in DSK format, or as an executable file. Overall, for the few who hold fast to floppies this simple utility may come in handy.

Still Works Great After All These Years!

Pros
When boot-able diagnostic floppies for older industrial equipment need reproduced, this program is magic. It is a lot easier than trying to create a boot-able DOS floppy from scratch and a lot faster. Need to re-produce those old Ghost 2002 Floppies to image an old Windows 98 or DOS system in industry? This works perfect!
Cons
A little "iffy" under Windows 7, but I keep a multi-partition DELL M90 Windows XP computer for working with old systems and FlopImager works flawlessly with it.
Summary
I can not say enough good things about FlopImage!

Pros
Easy uploading capability of my floppy image file onto hard disk and one click download back to floppy without nay hassels. Image recorded so it can be used in multiple usages.
Cons
Without $15.00 license fee, you must wait 20 seconds before you do anything. <p>Anyone interested to donate to me?
