Can't seem to buy it

- This accomplishes everything I want it to do and I found it to be easy enough to set up.

- Problem is there is no way to buy it. The Buy but leads to a 404 and the email for the support is undeliverable.

I want one-way synchronization.

- I was able to "synchronize" folders with the same name on two different drives, one the Mac internal hard drive and the other a USB-connected backup drive. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, it can only synchronize both ways. In other words, if one drive has file A and the other drive has file B, when it's over both folders have Files A and B. What I wanted was a program that puts A on the other drive and deletes B from it.

- This thing's idea of synchronization is to take everything from either drive and put it on the other. I wanted a one-way sync where the target was made to look like the source, whether that means adding missing files, updating files from the source to the target, or deleting files on the target that no longer exist on the source. If it does this, I couldn't figure out how.

- 1) In lower left corner is "Number of pairs" not sure what the very large number is telling me - 47244640371 2) Date of last sync seems different than old version - If a pair was synced with no changes date goes away - how about the current date

It makes the process of file synchronisation as easy as it can be and some of my Mac users are not too technical, but they all find this software easy to use and it keeps their files backed up, which any IT Manager will tell you is the biggest challenge they face. The price is very reasonable and the support form the developer is exemplary.

- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I am a big fan of File synchronization tools to keep multiple folder identical.File Synchronization allows you to set up folder pairs and with a click of a button keep them synched. There are many tools for handling conflicts, missing files, etc. You can also set these pairs up for automated and scheduled synchronization. There is a handy preview function to make sure that the planned folder updates are what you expect. A very nicely thought out utility. The developer is responsive and easy to deal with.

The solution for syncing files is much better than just a simple backup, I often put files in different places, iDisk, external drives, portables etc. When I make an update to a presentation file from my server (iDisk, RAID etc) I lose sight sometimes on which file I made the changes to. Especially if it was copied to one of my MacBook Pros. If I make a last minute adjustment on my MacBook Pro now I'm out of sync with the server. So I simply set up a pairing between the Portable and the Main System which then always keeps them in Sync and up-to-date. The Log print out also keeps me informed on when I performed the sync. The developer is VERY fast to respond. I literally sent an email on an issue and he resolved it by a return email within 10 minutes. (He's got to be working too hard at the computer to respond that quick)

If you aren't sure about buying it, there is a 30 day trial. I would recommend this product to anyone in need of a file sync program for Mac.
