Great tool for freelancers

- The time management component is really nice, and the output summarizing projects is nicely presented. Good customer service responsiveness. Nice feature to be able import from other software (e.g., excel, numbers).

- Not worth the price compared to other time management software ($67 vs. $47 or less); difficult to make a customizable invoice for clients (canned invoice not easily useable) and had to use html or other program to adapt. $5 charge to make custom.

- Generally, a nice program for free-lancers and small business; however, compared to the less expensive programs out there, not worth the additional costs (especially if customizing requires an additional cost). If you're a free-lancer or small business, money savings is always a concern, and while I usually go by the rule, "you get what you pay for...," this program is an exception to that rule. Take a look at some of the other time management software that is less expensive. I finally went with Office Time (for Mac), which doesn't have all the bells and whistles of Fanurio, but I'm quite happy with what Office Time can do. I have three employees and so far, it's been a nice addition to my small business and my employees are happy with the way it integrates to their project management. We'll be looking at the iPhone App in the coming weeks as clients are becoming more and more demanding about time management, and we aim to oblige using Office Time.

- Easy, smart, cheap, convenient. Not a "hassle" to keep your time tracked to this like so many other solutions I've experimented with.

- Smart tracking. Notifies you if you left it running and since when or if you've been working without the clock running and since when. The mac version has a running total of time for your current task on the dock icon. Tracks billable amounts based on one of several billing rates you can input. Easy to manage multiple clients, each with multiple projects and each project with multiple tasks and each task can have multiple start/stops. Also tracks expenses, like supplies and stock art and any other billable expense. Invoices easily generated without any guesswork. And all for only $60.

- The Fanurio timer is the best timer for the Mac that I've found. It has enough flexibility to track both paid and pro-bono work, provides accurate easy to read reports, and the best feature, is it's smart idle/resume reminders.

- As a small business web developer, tracking my time is critical. Recently moving to the mac I've tried over 15 different timer applications, and this was the best one that I found.It's very easy to use, has both a detailed and mini view version (a lot like itunes), I can transfer time effortlessly between projects, has great built in reporting and custom reporting capabilities, and the best part is it's smart idle/resume features. My biggest problem with timers is forgetting to turn it on or off. Fanurio's smart timer features solves this by keeping track of whether I'm idle (and reminding me to start the timer) or if I've been timing and go idle it asks me if I want to discard, transfer, or resume timing. The other part about the developers is that they are extremely responsive. I've emailed them three different feature requests, and they have responded quickly, and implemented them! When was the last time you felt a company actually listened to you! Great product, give it a try.

- The price. It's not $39, but when you go to purchase it they want you to pay $59. That's a very big CON to me.

- Fanurio might be worth $39 with what it's able to do, but $59 is getting to be too pricey! Plus like I said, the bait and switch did not make me happy.
