After testing PayMaker, I was very impressed, because of the look and feel is very similar to original Apple-Software.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I do agree on the remarks about PACE - I do not like the idea. But it does not affect my system in any way (at least after updating to OS 10.3.3 - before that, booting was slowed down by waiting for PACe support). I do not agree about MacPay being better, however. I tried several times MacPay - and did not arrive to have reliable MoneyPen support. It's user interface is not as straight forward - with Paymaker the forms to fill out look exactly as the orignial paper forms - with MacPay it is a different thing. To remove Paymaker you need to make invisible files visible - Tinkertools will do that without any problem. So you do not need to go to the terminal. Support is immediat and helpful. For me the choice was clear - because it was the only software that functioned as supposed on my system. Try it for yourselve on your system. I do not know wether the one star ratings were given after actually trying the software or wether they are just to protest against the PACE thing.

• Anti piracy PACE libraries not welcome

I do not like this type of protection and always felt my system belongs to me. Customer service and good software value are always very effective against piracy.

Sending the datafiles to your bank via browser works great - ease of use depends on the bank institute. Overall it's of great help. Integration into a financial suite would be great (as offered by Windows Products of the same company). For me it worked better and was more easy to use than competitor MacPay - particularly the integration with Moneypen is very solid.
