  Tried it on a 1 GB SD camera card connected to WIN 2000 Pro. The GUI is very slow, appears to be frozen but wait a full minute for choices you make to show up, like which drive letter you want scanned, and it will chug along. Very slow scan, took from 5-15 seconds for each sector, did 3600 sectors in about 2 hours, progress bar was still at zero percent, and files found was also listed as zero. I stopped the scan at this point, and it then said one file was found, but the thumbnail was blank. Self-serve kiosk at the store found 6 photos of 25. Other expensive recovery programs found all 25 photos.

  I was able to retrieve my deleted photos from smartmedia card without any problems. highly recommended piece of software.

  It's really hard to say how excited I am when I see my pictures come back! It is a miracle! I can retrieve all my pictures back easily.

  i know the deleted file exists with another program, but this program couldn't even find it. i'm glad that i didn't have to pay to figure that out.

• Simple, Inexpensive, and it works!

  Pros

  A very simple, clean, easy-to-use interface. Program will recover both deleted and damaged files, but if you only need to recover deleted files you can choose not to recover the damaged ones since it takes a lot longer. It also recovers common video formats recorded from the camera - something I didn't expect but I am thankful for. Also, it clearly labels which files were recovered and which were already ok...useful for large numbers of files in a particular drive (or memory card). Definitely worth the twenty-something dollars I paid. A good investment.

  Cons

  Demo version will not let you save any of the files you recovered (figures...) but at least you will know before you pay whether or not it will work for you.

  Pros

  It's really hard to say how excited I am when I see my honeymoon trip's pictures come back! I spent much effort to get the data back wasn't successful until I downloaded eIMAGE Recovery software. It is a miracle!!! I can retrieve all my pictures back easily.
