I got the Trojan:\VBS/Mutuodo.A Virus from download of EXTRAS, on the download, they try and hide the extras like Chromium, and trick you into downloading the extras like Chromium, and what comes along with the download is the Trojan:\VBS/Mutuodo.A Virus, for this is a nasty Virus, I had to do a system refresh in the Bios to get rid of this thing, this is a bad person or company to do something like this to people.
Summary
You have to be very careful when downloading freeware, and never get tricked into downloading Extras.

I had a drive that was split half-and-half into an NTFS partition (C:) and a FAT32 partition (D:), old PC, relatively small drive. Because the W10 update required 8GB (!), there was not enough space on C:. EaseUS partition master allowed me to convert D: to NTFS and then merge the two partitions.
Cons
For operations to complete, allowing the task to run its course and then permitting it to reboot is necessary. The program doesnt always seem to give feedback of what its doing. I cant be more specific, but the key is to take it one step at a time. With some patience, all will be well. When I did these ops I got a warning that the drive might not be usable if the program ran. I assume this is a legal caveat. Really, when you mess with HD directories, there's always a risk. For me, everything was fine.

I liked their old version, and wanted to upgrade

Even though I declined the as usual somewhat cleverly hidden installer option to install unwanted additional programs, EaseUS still went on to install the following unwanted malware: - Bytefence (Malwarebytes later remove +1000 unwanted Bytefence files) - Chromium, not sure why, probably to auto-install search extension - Chrome search extension. Fortunately Chrome warned me, so I could decline this twice.
Summary
Never install another EaseUS product. I had wanted to try their free backup software, as version 10 of the partition manager is really useful. However, after this experience I am never touching another EaseUS product again.
Free lifetime upgrade (only 20$) ?!

Installs a bunch of malware/adware

Pros
None. In order to finish the install I had to install a chrome extension I didn't want, so I didn't get to try the free version.
Cons
Free version installs a bunch of malware/adware, and tries to install a Chrome extension. Luckily my Malwarebytes caught the malicious software and websites. I also tried a trial of the pro version, but it wouldn't let me actually perform any changes to a drive unless I bought the software. I wouldn't consider that a trial. In addition, the uninstaller doesn't get rid of everything.
Summary
I had high hopes, but after my experiences I am not getting near any EaseUS software.

Pros
Does lots of free hard drive set up in a nice interface for a casual user. It keep the pay wall programs separate your not forced to click them.
Cons
It's one of those innocent programs now that you keep uninstalling when you have bad adware/malware problems because it always runs in the background... even if you have not used it in months so you uninstall it.
Summary
it's a good program to install when your not angry at freeware or paranoid in this always on broadband world.

Works like windows disk management, but includes the features that Microsoft has taken out, like resizing and formatting FAT partitions.
