EaseUS MobiSaver Free helps you get back lost files on your iOS device, but it only works if you have the already bloated iTunes installed. Once you have it up and running it works perfectly and it will be especially helpful if your iTunes backup has failed.

Even though EaseUS MobiSaver Free helps you back up your files from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod, you still need to have iTunes to make it work. This program won't replace that if you own an Apple gadget with a Windows laptop. Like Apple's own media player, EaseUs MobiSaver Free is a hefty download, checking in at about 60MB. That means it will take a while to download if you have a slower Internet connection. Once you've installed the program, it works seamlessly. It automatically backs up any files you tell it to: SMS, contacts, photos, and more. It can even pull files that you accidentally deleted from your gadget, giving you a nice fail-safe if your iTunes backup gave up the ghost. You can host your backup locally, but the app doesn't come with any online storage. None of that matters much if you're in a sticky situation, though -- and that's exactly where this app will come in handy.

If you're panicking because you lost an important contact, photo, or text, you have to give EaseUS MobiSaver Free a shot. It's a nice backup to your existing iTunes backup, especially considering how fickle iTunes can be. It doesn't hurt to have a little redundancy, and this program is a great way to do it.

This software is horrible, and completely useless! I had to jump through all kinds of hurdles just to get this crap properly connected. Then after 2 hours of scanning, it disconnected for no obvious reason. Don't even waste your time. Do yourself a favor, and find another recovery app.

The website advertises that data can be recovered from locked devices/forgotten passwords. In my case, this was a disabled iPhone 6. The software can only recover data that has been backed up to iTunes or iCloud. If I had backed up to either of those places, I wouldn't need software that does what this software claims to do. This company preys on desperate people. And they are jerking me around on my refund request claiming that my case doesn't meet the criteria for their money back guarantee. DO NOT BUY THIS, SAVE YOUR MONEY.

Tried to install on my work PC, which is protected by McAfee: it said "In our tests, this download contained programs some people would consider adware, spyware or other potentially unwanted programs."

Either this installation really contains some adware/spyware, or it is written in such a way that McAfee thinks it may contain something unwanted. Either way - can be better: either cleaner or better written.

This was easy to use and to my surprise it retrieved a lot of texts...a very important long text string that was at least a month and a half old....the entire string came up! However, the pictures that were not saved to my camera on iphone but were embedded in that text string never came up.... When I contacted Customer Support, they took awhile to get back to me, and the problem was not fixed. So still not sure how to undelete a picture embedded in a text that was never saved to iphone. Is that possible?

No real cons except you cannot retrieve a picture that was inserted into a text...never got an answer from EaseUS on why unsaved pics could not be recovered.

Good software for the money if you only want to undelete a portion of the texts you lost...not sure why some come back and some do not.
