about 15 years ago i last used MySQL, on a mac - and had a brilliant GUI programme for it - this, without doubt, is definately the windows version in terms of its ease of use, funtionallity & help files. Excellent for newbies, people like myself brushing off cobwebs & yet also has the functionality for seasoned people - Well done guys !!

Couldn't even connect to a local Mysql db on Windows XP. Two other utilities for Mysql I downloaded here connected bango. They have some help explanation about TCP ports, but wasn't relevant. Gotta make it simpler than that guys. I give up, for now.

Pros
I'm a novice and picked up on this interface quickly. I'm sure it has more to offer than I know how to use. Like all newer programs there are some bugs but the nice thing it is auto generates a bug report and gives you the option to send it if it fails. You just can't let these things sit idle too long. Another nice feature is you can open the sql right in the program from your desktop in a very user friendly interface.
Cons
You may have to ctrl del out of it once in a while as the bug report can lock you up and won't close. The Save As feature doesn't work yet but I'm sure that will be coming.
