It is way too Complicated for the average home user newbies! That is GOOD it is complicated, as This Is For Professionals! It is a must for low-level recoveries! This is not for everyone to use! YOU CAN REALLY SCREW UP ALL YOUR DATA IF YOU DON´T REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT YOUR ARE DOING. Your PAID License WILL ONLY WORK FOR ABOUT A WEEK. THEN EASSOS WILL FIND A REASON TO DIS-ACTIVATE YOUR LICENSE. Be ready... Unless you are ready to deal with a truly WeIrD EASSOS cooperate philosophy and are ready to BUY the License again and again and again, DO NOT BUY THIS!   To use the software, be ready to keep shelling out money for a new Licence. Your License is valid until EASSOS decides you changed something in your computer. You can send EASSOS your receipt from them. That will makes no difference Reinstall your OS, BUY new copy Apply MS updates to your OS, BUY new copy Change memory, BUY new copy. Update your CPU, BUY new copy. Change a Hard disk, even if it failed, BUY new copy. Anything EASSOS wants to change in the post sales agreement, BUY new copy. I have already purchased this Lifetime software TWICE and find I need to buy it a THIRD TIME. I HAVE ONLY used PartitionGuru Pro on ONE FUJITSU PC. SINCE 2012 I ADDED: A BETTER CPU, LARGER HARD DISKS, Updated WINDOWS,.. • Amazing customer service

  Pros

  I was having issues with Software recovery program freezing... (30-day version)... I emailed and had a reply in a matter of minutes... A tech even sat remotely with me for hours to work and save my data from a destroyed hard drive.

  Cons

  I wish I would've bought the correct program from the start - but I was able to trade for the needed one.

  Summary

  If you are desperate to get back important files... it's worth the money... AND DON'T BE AFRAID TO USE THEIR SUPPORT - amazing service! Was able to recover 90% of a 1TB hard drive that was unusable.

  Pros

  It contains all fucntions I might use, such as patition manager, data recovery and system backup & restore. I'm no longer have to download several programs to get these functions. at present, this single software can do all these task for me!

  This software can backup your partitions, but be warned, if you run into a problem and cannot access your data, the developer will ignore any request for support. There are also NO forums.

  Summary

  If only you could submit a ticket, pay for support, ask a question, read forum posts.

  Pros

  1. It helped me convert GUID to MBR, good job 2. Last night it helped me recover deleted files from USB flash disk.

  Cons

  it is not as powerful as its Pro version.

  Great app used it restore many files after blue screen issues and corrupted partition tables.

  The feature set is mesmerizing. And they really work! Incredibly for such a small program.

  Lack a simple tool to resize partition. Too high price for little-known brand.

  This is (as so many of these "free" programs are) basically a pitch to buy a more expensive version, which is usually a crapshoot as regards how well or badly it may work. In my case, I had a hard drive I needed to recover data from, it showed me that it saw the data...but a couple of other programs did the same, and when I paid for them...they suddenly could not recover any data...I blame CNET for this. They should make the software companies clearly tell the potential user if the program is: A) Entirely free B) Is a "basic" version C) Requires a paid upgrade to do anything useful D) Has a file size limitation I have been very disappointed in my experience at this site today.
