Disk Space Monitor for Windows

Sure, this free utility fulfills its promise by displaying hard disk space. But after testing it, we had to ask ourselves if it was really necessary.

Disk Space Monitors user interface doesn't consist of much, and we have to say that it really looks amateurish. It doesn't require installation, though. It's basically a tiny window with a poor excuse for a pie chart representing your total and free disk space. A tiny icon also resides in your task bar. From there, you can apply a few settings, such as update frequency, and selecting the drive you want to monitor. There is also an option to keep the window on top of whatever you're working on at that moment. Each time we summoned the program, it displayed our most current disk data.

Other than the convenience of having all of the information easily accessible, there's no incentive for downloading this utility. We'd rather stick to looking up our hard disk information through Windows.
