This easy-to-use encryption utility supplies a decent amount of security, but we still must voice a few complaints. Crypteze lets you choose from five algorithms for encrypting and shredding files so you can compromise between security and speed. The bland interface is easy enough to use and conveniently lets you lock files via a quick right-click. Still, it would be nice if you could just drag and drop files to the main interface instead of having to browse your PC. We were also disappointed to learn you can't encrypt folders or multiple files at once. We did appreciate Crypteze's security measures, including the ability to shred files and password-protect access to the application. Unfortunately, the utility can't create self-decrypting files, so your recipients will need to install the program. In spite of a couple of flaws, Crypteze works just fine for users with occasional encryption needs.

Encrypts well.

Pros
Easily encrypt single files, and secure delete single files with ease.
Cons
Doesn't work on whole folders, only on single files. Same with secure delete, doesn't give an option to secure delete whole folder.

Pros
If you need a digital ID for your e-mail application, this is the program for you. It is free, and it allows you to create a digital ID that can be sent with any e-mail application. Easy to use and with simple features, you cannot go wrong. I have used this to send digitally encrypted messages without a snag. I have used this program for well over a year without any problem. THIS IS A MUST HAVE!!!
