  Looks nice, and runs fast.

  Cons

  It wasn't to open a FireWall rule for connectivity to the internet. I needed an application that would compare file's "Properties -> Details -> Sub Properties"

  Summary

  Could be a nice product, but when I first read that it could read and modify file attributes, I was excited, because that's all I'm changing between two directories.

  Fast Easy and simple to use Great support I have no issues with registration, I received my key faster than other software I bought... I have it on my Desktop, Notebook.

  Have to buy through Digital River. Program is a reasonable price but with Digital River handling fee the price is double. Digital River is impossible to deal with.

  As the name implies, the application is fast in comparing folders. It is very useful in synchronizing folders on same computer or folders on local networks.

  Cons

  Registration process is a problem when re-installing.

  Issues with registration - have been using the applcation for several years, but as of March 2008 was notified of new license. Now I can no longer re-install the program when I make changes to my computer. Feel like a criminal using a program that I purchased legally.

  Amazingly fast, spot-on accurate, relatively intuitive and simple to use, feature-rich, runs on 64 bit Vista, reasonable price.

  Might be a bit complicated for inexperienced PC users.

  As someone who frequently needs to compare and sync files/foldesr for both business and personal use I went in search of the "perfect" app. After trying half a dozen or so similar utilities I was quickly convinced that Comparator Fast was the "hands down" winner. Of the apps I tested none were anywhere near as fast or intuitive as CF despite the fact that many were more costly. I was really impressed with the fact that it was able to comb through my 800GB digital music collection within a matter of a minute or two. There are more sorting and scanning options than I'll ever know what to do with but the basic settings are more than adequate and simple to master. After deciding to purchase the program I search for on-line discount codes and quickly found one for 20% off. Definitely include Comparator Fast among whatever apps are contending for your consideration. I'm sure you'll be as impressed as I was.

  Pros

  Comparator Fast is an excellent tool, have many other options to compare even text files. I keep my folders synchronized with it, never fails. I got fast support, and works perfectly on my Vista notebook too.
