CleanMyPC is Great!
- Pros
- It takes out invalid registry values and and "left-behinds" that even uninstaller programs miss. It can selectively scan your registry for files or do a "blanket" scan. This program is a must have.

- It's name is far too close to different products including one from this vendor: http://www.slimcleaner.com and MyCleanPC. In particular MyCleanPC is garbage and I am quite sure that the less than favorable reviews of CleanMyPC Registry Cleaner are not accurate and were meant for MyCleanPC. For example there's not a shred of malware in CleanMyPC Registry but MyClean PC is overflowing with crud.

- This program does its exact job. It cleans. The history sweeping function is also amazing. I do notice an increase in speed when used on a computer that doesn't get the greatest maintenance. Im not sure what the low reviews are about, but I think this is a great piece of software.

- All the good reviews here are phony! Check the user reviews of other software to discover they review other products by the same company. All I can say about cleanmypc is RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!!!

- in over 2 years it only made 1 mistake and that was easily fixed using it's own restore points. I also like that it has a Registry defrag build in. Works with XO Vista and Win7 32 and 64bit Plus i like it's Price LOL

- Fast. Checks for registry problems but only those that can cause immediate problems. Has an option to scan for invalid paths for advanced use. Tool for compacting the registry. Has performed as advertised. Would recommend the lifetime subscription.

- The software has a nice clean easy to understand interface. It worked with Vista and is the main reason I purchased it as I was using Registry Mechanic but their software was not completely compatible with Vista. CleanMyPC allows easy access to system tools in addition to backup/restore registry and defrag registry. I use this software on a daily basis and never have any problems with my PC. The check registry function only checks for the most common problems. There is an option to check file and path references for advanced users.

- It found what was clogging my computer and fixed it. It took out invalid registry values and completely uninstalled a program that had been partially left behind from a previous uninstall. I like how can selectively scan your registry for files.
