  This is listed as free, however their own website, which I checked for additional information on features clearly states that is 30-day trial shareware and you must buy a license at £5 afterwards.

  Pros

  Easy to use very functional and free. It is fast loading and produces a good printout. Great shopping list feature

  Cons

  If any I would say it needs more icons and it has trouble with thirds i.e. 2.333333 cups translates to 2 1/4 cups. Being able to print larger fonts would be nice too.

  Summary

  I am not much of a salesman but this program does not need one. Try it if you don't think it rocks the kitchen. I don't know what to tell you. I recommended it to all my friends and I recommend it to you.

• The Best Free Recipe Organizer

  Pros

  Easy to use. Has a great interface. Simple and gets the job done.

  Cons

  You can not enter fractions into the ingredient quantity. They have to be entered as decimals, then you can display them as fractions. No big deal. But it took me a while to trick the program into displaying 1/8 cup. Who knew 1/8 = .15?

  Summary

  I downloaded several of the free recipe organizers including Soft Cuisine, ReLiSimple and Recipes Ship. I found this one to be the best for storing and organizing my recipes.

  Pros

  Program is It does everything a recipe manager should do with a rating feature, meal planner, shopping list, scaling ingredients for servings, add pictures, and nutrition analysis. This is a good-looking, user-friendly program.

  Cons

  Pictures cannot be downloaded from the Internet directly (main reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) and can only be uploaded to Flickr or Picasa. Food icons are limited.

  Summary

  I think the large print "Sticky Fingers" mode is wonderful if you are one to read a recipe on your computer in the kitchen as you prepare it! Easy cut and paste for adding ingredients, too. It appears to have excellent support. At this time this is the best free recipe manager I could find.

  Pros

  Since two years I was looking for a recipe software like this, I am very happy to find and use it. Everything is customisable and the software is very easy to use
