CheckMark Payroll for Macintosh is a complete payroll program for small to medium-sized businesses. It can run as a stand-alone payroll system, or you can integrate it with CheckMark's MultiLedger accounting package.
Best suits to my Business and easy to run it on Mac. I have tried couple of Payroll software for Mac but checkmark has been the best so far and value for money. Whenever i contact the support I feel they are very professional and quick to answer my questions.

Froggies--2008
Pros
easy to use, updates frequently, accurate.
Cons
no way to open previous pay records. support costs $3/minute, no online support, no help at all
Summary
must be a better way. overpriced for an app. with no support whatsoever. I'd give it 5 stars if there was any support. they must take lessons on crappy customer service from Intuit.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Check Mark doesn't seem to be interested in supporting MoneyWorks, which is an up and coming accounting package for OS X that is very promising. Stay away from Check Mark Payroll if you're a Canadian who wants to use something other than Connected Accounting or MYOB (both of which suffer from limitations in various areas).
I am returning my copy for a refund as per their return policy because they have refused to integrate with modern accounting software packages (i.e. MoneyWorks).
Their team was polite at first when I requested they look into making the two programs compatible, but they quickly lost interest in satisfying their customers as soon as it meant making any modifications to the exports their product puts out. They are going to go the way of the dinosaur with that attitude, IMHO.
Cognito, the makers of MoneyWorks, was very interested in assisting Check Mark with this change but were told to go away because there wasn't enough user interest. That is short-sighted and really an inaccurate presumption.
I can't reccommend anyone use this unless they don't mind being told which accounting packages they are allowed to use. Check Mark really wants you to buy the companion product, MultiLedger, and seems only interested in supporting users who are willing to buy into that. (I am not because MultiLedger is an ugly looking, feature-incomplete, poorly-supported program)
