• I see Bullguard as an Intrusive and a bogus Programme

  It is like a spam once u install the trial version u can never uninstall it before the stupid trial is over!even after that it stays on your hard drive forever.I dont like when people force their merchandise on me i guess no one does but these Cunning bullguard owners dosent care only thing they see is $$$$$$!

  Pros

  Covers all areas needing protection. Reasonably intuitive and user friendly. Very attentive support.

  Cons

  Doesn't seem to keep up as well as other programs with the latest viruses, started letting in some really nasty stuff even though I am a careful about which sites I visit, so I have no idea how that started happening. But I just didn't feel protected anymore. Plus the firewall started blocking my favourite games. Support tried to help, but we were just going in circles after a while. Certain firewall tweaks that can be done in other forewall programs can't be done by the user with this one, support even admitted to me that I couldn't unblock the games myself I would have to wait until Bullguard released a fix. I found another firewall that gives me a lot more control (while it blocked my games at first, it let me allow them afterwards).

  Summary

  Used to be my favourite security suite, but their quality and usability has gone way downhill. Stopped using it.

• Great Anti Virus protection

  Pros

  Works well on all viruses, including rootkits. Has the best support for its customers at no extra cost 24/7. I have been involved with the BG12 Beta testing and highly recommend it.

  Cons

  CNET providing BG8.5 and BG10 reviews on a new product? That's crap. Not happy with the UI, once you find everything and work it all out it's ok.(The settings for things are not easy to find.)

  Really comprehensive and covers all aspects of my Internet and computer safety needs.

  Cons

  Software interface 'feels' clunky. Even with my brand new, top speed laptop, I'm sure Bullguard sometimes feels sluggish.

• Great! Works Smoothly with Malwarebytes & Others

  Pros

  Works great with Malwarebytes, Zemana AntiKeylogger, IObit AntiMalware & IObit Advanced System Care Pro. It uses BitDeffender AntiVirus Engine combined with their own behavioral monitor & Firewall. Great combination

  Cons

  None really, except sometimes you have to update on your own.

  Summary

  One of the few AntiVirus Suits to work well with others such as Malwarebytes & IObit. Highly Recommended. Do not use with Ad-Aware or Emsisoft Anti-Malware or Comodo.

  Does an ok job.

  Cons

  I noticed every year when the software was 30 days from being renewed that my computer started to have problems. It was almost like they were causing my computer to slow down. I noticed this every year so I dumped them.

  Summary

  After looking at all the independent reviews from people who know security I switched. When free software get a better review the money spent on this software just is not worth it.

• BullGuard10 Rocks my pc is safe 24/7 STOPS THE BADGUYS.

  Pros

  This is the best value for money product. With a free 24/7 support team with a 1hr response time or live chat for the worst times. With a very help full staff. This is my security all in one. On my pc for ever. Stops the badguys.

  Cons

  Can take up a lot of memory because it scans well. Interface colours need to stand out more so you can see if things are on or off. Needs 512RAM and broadband to be really happy.

  Summary

  I have this BullGuard on three pc's and have had no viruses cause me any problems since I installed it. I upgraded from BG9.0 keeping all my settings etc with no problems at all. I downloaded a program I wanted, that would cause changes to my memory reg and it quarantined it, I then sent it to BG lab for them to do a virus check on the suspected program. I got the ok in three days. On my pc for ever!! Has a 90 day free trial version to judge for yourself. ON MY PC FOR EVER!!!!

  Pros

  Top Notch comprehensive. Excellent Customer Service 24/7. Have not had a virus in 4+ yrs that Bullguard did not catch. I have seen Bullguard clean many computers. It not only keeps viruses out, but if it finds one, it effectively removes it.

  Cons

  None, except I think they are a bit overstuffed with a lot of gaming support in thier main product and they should offer a lighter product for the business community.

  Summary

  It is a great product, and, if you are willing to pay for ongoing support, it is among the very best.
