Editors’ Review
Though it doesn't offer a method to import, this password keeper is secure and easy to operate. With a file tree and button interface, Password Vault feels familiar. Function buttons are clearly labeled and need no explanation. That's good since the online guidance is bare-bones.
Operating Password Vault is a mere matter of choosing a category and entering username, password, and a short description. Keeping passwords in order is easily accomplished by placing them in categories. Categories are easily created and deleted with a click or two. You can't see all passwords on a single screen, though. Unfortunately, the app doesn't include an option to search fields.
The program's extra options lock the program when minimized, automatically copy passwords to the clipboard in select situations, and (to help privacy) clear the clipboard after a few moments. With a click, you can print or export all passwords.
Password Vault should appeal to novice users needing to secure only a few passwords. For those with numerous passwords to manage, this tool needs more effective search capabilities, and an option to view all entries. The 30-day trial is more than enough time to discover if the app fits your particular needs.
