  Pros

  I'm actually using version 5.3...Easy to install...Very user friendly...Extremely secure. Has different tools to assist you keeping your computer and business files secret. Also has encrypted voice communication!

  Cons

  None at this point...

  Summary

  We are an organization that deals with highly sensitive information on a daily basis. This software allows all of our agents to access a secure server and enrypted information without having to decrypt the file itself; wheather we are sitting in the office or out in the field on our mobile units.

• This bad boy slows down your laptop, it works though.

  You would have to remove the hard drive and use it as a slave to get any thing out of it once this bad boy is in.

  Cons

  To get rid of this bad boy you have to format your hard drive and install a new OS.

  Summary

  If you want to keep somebody out of your laptop, this will do it. If you wnat to un-install it on your own - forget it. You better have Revo.

  Pros

  We use a competitive and expensive product at work. The idea is to make the computers unaccessable if stolen. This product works better (In my opinion) than the expensive commercial product.

  I just installed this product and so far have not found anything wrong with it.

  Pros

  Most security programs are designed to protect against other users of the same computer. This one protects a single user computer against ANY outsider.

  Read instructions CAREFULLY or you could lock yourself out of your computer!!

• Does not support Outlook Business Contact Manager

  Pros

  Seems to be an easy to install and quite user friendly product from the few minutes experience I had of it. It does not seem to support Outlook Business Contact Manager (BCM). Fortunately, the product is also easy to uninstall as I chose to keep Outlook BCM over CompuSec. If you have no need to use Outlook BCM, this should be a very useful tool for you,

  Does not support Outlook BCM. I emailed the vendor to have this confirmed but have not had a response for 3 to 4 weeks. But hey, this is a free product and if you don't need support and you don't use Outlook BCM, this product seems to have little wrong with it.

  I have the full drive encrypted on Win XP Pro. Works perfect and doesn't really affect performance. It works too. I removed the drive and tried to "crack" it in another pc. Nothing....... It worked very well.

  This thing works like a champ, is fast and seamless. It's also easy to use - even who's a moderate cluebie should be able to deal with this. A single word of warning - if you have a full-disk security eraser, you shouldn't use it while the drives are encrypted. I ran East-Tec Eraser on my drive, to wipe deleted data, and immeadiately after reboot something borked my machine "No operating system found". I honestly can't believe that it's free!
