  You cannot do anything with the trial version. You must purchase full version for $30 dollars to convert a disk.

  It might be a good program although I could not tell because must purchase full version to do any operations. If your looking for functional and free application keep looking.

  I uninstalled the Aomei trial demo. Then I found freeware HXD and fixed my problem of converting an invalid dynamic disk to a basic disk without loss of data. I am well pleased with HXD.

  Summary

  My computer is Windows 7 32 bit. I have created two dynamic disks to use. But after using a period of time, I want to convert dynamic disk into basic disk. So I begin to find some solutions to help me out. Finally, I choose to use AOMEI Dynamic Disk Converter which supports to convert multiple dynamic disks to basic disk simultaneously. It is quite useful.

  This program was so easy to use and intuitive for a end-user.

  The process took a bit longer than expected: over 1.5 hrs to complete. No other CON's to note!!!

  Almost lost all of my data after Windows changed my HFS (Mac Os formatted) disks to dynamic, making them unopenable in both Windows and Mac Os. Instant and easy fix from this program!

  with the simple feature whereas it is my urgent demand. convert dynamic disk to basic disk perfectly and not involving data loss.

  maybe, the interface can be more fresher. certainly, this is ok as well.

  i couldnt remember who tell me the dynamic disk is more advanced than basic disk, it turn out to be the truth. to me, not vworking. i found that my desktop which holds 2tb capicity easily converted to dynamic disk. not very long, i found that the hard drive goes invalid , i dont kn why. people said this product is not worth recommend. i surely hesitate for a long time to search another. yes, there was but expensive, i just want to convert dynamic disk to basic dsik, the additional functions i surely seldom use. i choose this one last, maybe, because its cheap price, maybe, another reason, with the confidence. i bought it. you can guess guys, the next??? of cause helped me. omg, unbelievable, conversion success. so, $29, does great job as well. Solved my puzzled question, I think it is worth recommend now, at the same time, am I not a lucky dog? hahaa

  Doesn't convert dymanic disks with unassigned drive letters.

  Summary

  Bought this software to convert a dynamic disk to a basic disk after one of my dynamic disks that I had in a group of 4 spanned disks failed. Was not able to convert the disks because application does not recognise disks without drive letters.

  Pros

  The program will reset your hard drive to a Basic disk from a Dynamic disk if somehow it changed and you're unable to view any of your files.

  Cons

  Still had to create a partition after the program ran, had to do a quick format, and thus lost all the information that supposedly wouldn't be lost. I then spent a week using recovery software to recovery files again. Support service is NON EXISTENT!

  Summary

  Yes the program can convert your disk back to basic format from being a dynamic disk, but I could have done that myself in Windows Disk Management and wouldn't have had to spend all those dollars. Once my hard drive got messed up, I then sent the support team an email to ask for help (years worth of data was on the line!) and to this day I have never heard anything from them. Eventually I had to download a file recovery program myself, and retrieve all the lost files. This program is NOT Recommended.
