Anti Tracks Free Edition from Giant Matrix not only erases browser and Windows tracks but also personal data from more than 140 different applications. It offers secure erasing technologies, an empty folder and file scanner, a duplicate file cleaner, a Passwords Wallet, a Panic Key, a Spam Eliminator, and much more.

An installation wizard walked us through the six steps of setting up Anti Tracks, including browser- and app-cleaning settings. We recommend rebooting before you run Anti Tracks (you'll need to reboot afterward as well), and also running the program as an Administrator. When initiated, Anti Tracks displays an estimate of the free space cleaning would reclaim. All you need to do is press Erase to initiate the cleaning. We also tried the bevy of options under Tools, including the File Shredder, Disk Cleaner, and Spam Eliminator, as well as the Uninstaller, Space Analyzer, Startup Manager, and more. Each tool worked as promised, but it was the Data Concealing tools we really wanted to try, especially the Hide Files & Folders tool. We were duly impressed by the latter, which uses steganography to hide data within data.

Preventing attacks may be job one, but keeping your PC clean is also critical to security. Anti Tracks Free Edition packs all the tools and extras we expect from a capable system cleaning bundle, and then some.

Pros
It has a lot of good options, more than most free programs of this type.
Cons
It deleted the Browser history file, not just it's contents. My Browser stopped recording History. I had to refresh the system and reload ALL my program. If you are going to use it, you MUST create a Restore Point!!!! I hope the Restore Point feature works. I contacted Support - no answer!!!

SEEMS to promise to do much.

Slow to "act." Found 400 junk files, wanted to check each and every one individually before potentially deleting. Sunk its hooks into registry, and I mean deeply. Machine slowed down. Then did not want to turn off, had to physically turn off by shutting down APC as nothing would close. Restarted, tried to delete using several uninstallers and deletions and they were all refused. System Restore could not be accessed (!) Finding the file yielded one program file, which could not be deleted or shredded either. Had to shut down, restart, and dowenload+ access tricky Ultra Virus Killer program to finally get rid of all its parts, taking quite a while.
Summary
What do we all call a program that seizes the Registry, will not let go, throttles other processes, and hates to be shut down or accessed?

The Pros?? Luckily i didn't buy the Pro version and waste my money!!
Cons
I would use this software with absolute extreme caution!! It's far too thorough!! It removed ALL of my start up icons. Removed completly all of my Firefox Bookmarks (Over 250 of them!!) and removed all of my Firefox addon icons too!! Thankfully, i made a system retore point before undertaking a scan with this software. So, i did a system retore and got my desk top icons back, but my Firefox browser was still missing all the above mentioned. Luckily i had FEBE addon installed, and was then able to restore all of my bookmarks. But, then had to manually reinstall the icons from the Firefox customize folder.
Summary
I would seriously use this software with a lot of caution. If you use it, create a system restore point first, and back up everything on Firefox using FEBE. Don't do a complete clean, do it by baby steps. If you are unsure how to use it, or don't know how to do a restore, leave it well alone!! CCleaner is far safer and i have used it for many years without a single hitch. Also, Advanced System Care 6 is a safe bet too. No, i do not work for any of the mentioned software companies, just a regular computer user, looking to use good free software and buy Pro versions when the prove their worth. Be careful, you have been warned!!!

Outstanding software and also has an excellent disk cleaner and more!,i really like the tracks cleaner and has an excellent disk cleaner that tells you which files it can't delete, or programs that should be closed in order to delete the temporary files, did a scan and the disk cleaner found 800 temporary files, was able to delete about half the temporary files in normal mode,also lets you know which programs to close to delete the remaining files, used safe mode and was able to delete all remaining files with no ill effects, targets only non critical files, one of the best disk cleaners i have tested to date!
