  Pros

  Get a different IP everytime I use it if I open it several times a day get a different IP each time.

  Cons

  I have not found anything yet but I have tried looking on some of the sites that keep your IP visit when looking at things on their site that will be my ultimate test if I get email or calls it means it did not work.

• Best anonymous VPN solution

  Pros

  I have been using gotrusted for 7+ years, and have been fully satisfied. Discrete and non-intrusive client runs in the background, so the browsing experience is unchanged. No hidden malware, ads, etc. Excellent email customer support. Currently using it on both Windows and Android devices with no problems.

  Cons

  Slows down the connection sometimes, but not as much as other similar products. Most of the time, there is no change in connection speed.

  Summary

  Excellent solution for those needing anonymous and safe browsing through a VPN. I tried a few other products (primedius, hma, hotspotshield), but none is as good. Gotrusted is better in terms of connection speed, ability to connect in different countries, and compatibility with multiple devices. If you are looking for a simple anonymous VPN solution, do not waste your time looking for other products. It is worth every penny spent.

• Simple Fast VPN without Surprises or Malware

  Pros

  Speeedy when using the USA or Europe networks. Seems reliable, though haven't used it long. No ads or fake browser toolbars like almost every other VPN I tried.

  Cons

  Interface is very simple... works, but not a ton of features.

  Summary

  I have tried a couple of VPNs and this one actually maxed out my 15Mbps connection at home (although I use it when traveling mostly). It's nothing fancy, but I did do research before trying GoTrusted - they have pretty good reviews on other website with benchmarks. I get the fastest speed in North America with any "Compatibility Modes" in the GoTrusted settings turned off. Apparently those modes are needed for some places when traveling, according to their support. I like most that the software didn't install crap browser 'plug-ins' (adware) like almost all the other VPNs I tried. And those others make it impossible to uninstall that stuff once it's in. Ugh.

  Pros

  Basic VPN functions. Customer service via email is fairly speedy.

  Cons

  Throttles internet speed terribly. You are required to give payment info just to try it. They pull the fine print technique and automatically begin billing after the 7 day "free" trial ends. No notification is sent to you, the only reason I found out is that my credit card expired and I received a renewal email from PayPal.

  Summary

  Avoid unless you want an overly complicated interface on a low end VPN. Go for a recognized brand like privateinternetaccess or HMA that have proper billing procedures and a user friendly interface.

• New version only one working for me when in China

  Slow to connect sometimes, otherwise seems fine.

  Summary

  I have subscriptions to 3 different VPNs because I travel overseas. When I was blocked in China recently, this was the only one of the 3 VPNs that worked to get me out to the Internet. I had to download the new version, but so far I have no problems. The others were blocked solid. Been with GoTrusted for years for this reason - they seem to always support the product with the latest tech.

• Company has NO telephone number / no real time help!

  Unknown because they insist on payment brfore the free trial.

  Cons

  1) No real time help 2) No way to contact them except by email form and a 24hr response time. 3) The 1 week FREE trial is NOT free! They insist on Credit Card authorization first!

  Summary

  I am not buying a service from an Internet company with no phone number or business license or any other way to identify WHO they are or how to contact them if they have taken money out of your account or credit card without authorization. NO WAY!<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Aug 30, 2012<p/>I was using "GoTrusted Secure Tunnel V2.3.3.1" for less than 40mins into the so called "1 week trial", it then disconnected and will not reconnect.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Aug 30, 2012<p/>It says "problem with your account" and "payment information needed" so much for the free 1 week trial!

  The first thing it did was to send me to a page with credit card info (apparently so I don't abuse their free trial- say what!). I could cancel anytime of course, otherwise they'd conveniently bill me $6/month after the 7-day trial. I politely declined. A cat in a bag...

  Pros

  Easy to connect with small icons that don't interfere with the view of the screen. Like the VPN on my iPod Touch, too. If it becomes disconnected the Green "G" turns red so it is easy to spot and reconnect. Only one click so very easy to me.

  Cons

  No complaints here. It works. yes, it disconnects sometimes, but reconnect is just one click.

  Summary

  Works well for me.
