  Before uninstall the program you need to exit the program. Right-click the program icon to exit in the Windows task bar.

  Pros

  Was easy to install and uninstall. For me, uninstall was in Add/Remove programs.

  Cons

  Not as pictured. Desktop remains whatever it was so I have snow coming down on a sunny beach. And the flakes are on top our your work, not just on the desk top. Kaspersky antivirus issued dire warnings when I clicked on "Get more animations".

  Summary

  I assume the Kaspersky warnings are false triggers and I appreciate the effort. And I could change my desktop to a snow scene. But it doesn't work for me. I didn't care for the flakes and want it strickly on the desktop. Years ago I had a nice Linux desktop with snow that would accumulate. That's what triggered my search.

  The idea that it was free.

  Doesn't uninstall in cuntrol panel or manually in the registry. One of the worst things I've ever downloaded from cnet! I am using Windows Vista. Remmend NOT downloading this.

  Not pretty. Just polka dots. Need to supply your own winter scene (doesn't come with the one shown on the download page) Can't uninstall it (still working on it)
