This application provides you with several virtual desktops for organizing your programs and operations. Microdesk places a small transparent menu above your system tray displaying the first 10 desktops created, but you can craft up to 99. Each desktop can have its own name and displays its own wallpaper, icons, and distinct password. You'll be able to access each with a predefined hot key or voice-command phrase, or right out of the menu bar. Microdesk's intuitive interface lets you modify the desktop menu settings, such as positioning, movement, display, transparency, and focus effects. The application manager conveniently allows you to drag and drop programs from one desktop to another. This handy software offers many great options and, best of all, it's free. Microdesk is perfect for anyone needing to organize a cluttered desktop or sharing a PC with a lot of people.

CONTAINS TROJAN SPYWARE - DO NOT INSTALL

None - did not install as it contains potentially harmful trojan spyware.
Cons
My anti-virus software successfully prevented me from installing this software as it contains Trojan.Crypt.CFI.Gen

Absolutely DO NOT install this software. It should be removed from CNet immediately as it contains potentially harmful spyware.

Worked, for about 2 minutes.
Cons
Stopped working suddenly, and I could not uninstall it.
Summary
I installed this program, and it worked just fine until I changed a few settings. Then it disappeared, and I could not open the program again. Then I tried to uninstall, but I just got a dialog box that said "Close the program first". So when I closed the program with task manager, it just reappeared after a few seconds. The only way I managed to get rid of it was by using the task manager in Spybot Search and Destroy to find where the file was located (turned out to be in c:/windows/ehome), then killing the process and deleting the file before it restarted. After this, the uninstaller still gave me the same message! I wouldn't have been able to get rid of it at all if it wasn't for Revo Uninstaller.

It cost nothing.
Cons
Only got it to work first time. Otherwise it appeared clicking on shortcut did nothing. Tried to uninstall, and that completely failed. Kept asking for an administrator password. Now I can't get its detritus off my computer.
Summary
Save yourself a headache and try something else.
Works but pop-up screen is hard to get rid of.

This could be a very useful program--popping from one screen to the next . . .

This would be a very useful program if i could get the comfirmation from the author. The problem is it has a constant popup without a comfirmation code . . .

I liked the idea and downloaded it. It sounds pretty cool but when I was installing it an Avira notification told me it has a virus. To be exact it told me it has a Trojan.
