This simple executable allows you to organize your stamps into albums, but the Save feature is disabled during the trial. AlbumGen's no-frills interface won't win any design accolades, but it's easy enough to operate. The program includes numerous layout tools to customize images and add personal captions. Some of the options include adding preset shapes and objects and adjusting alignment. AlbumGen lets you import images from EzStamp, and it also can be used to organize other items including family photos, coin collections and more. You can see a print preview of the album. Missing are borders and clip art to decorate album pages, which would have added some pizzazz. Overall, anyone requiring a hassle-free way to organize and compile photos and images will find AlbumGen worth a try.

I'm impressed. Makes producing album pages easy.

Pros
I've only just started using this product and yet was able to easily and quickly produce a fairly complex album page. Things should become even better once I've explored more of its features. The bottom line is that it does the job and does it very well.
Cons
There are some little quirks that don't prevent one from getting things done but that I think should be cleaned up. One example: if when an object is copied the result is not two objects (as one would expect). Instead the original object and the copy of it become become one big object.
Summary
Well worth the money. Highly recommended.

Pros
I have used this program to the exclusion of all else. Nothing comes close. Over the past 10 years I have created (and recreated) a unique album for collecting 2c Black Harding precancels (17 volumes with some 1000 pages). I believe the best single collection of this type deserves the best album possible and with AlbumGen I have it. The only thing better than this program is its customer support!
Cons
There are none. The more you learn the program the more you realize what it can do.

Cons
This is professional quality software and as such it will take a new user some time to fully appreciate how everything works. The best way to learn it is to play with it and go from simple to complex. It is very extremely reliable and never crashes my Windows system so play hard - you will be pleased with the results.
Summary
I have spent a vast amount on albums and while all good, they all lack one or two design items that I like. Even Scott ignores the singles associated with se-tenant designs and if you collect plate numbered coils of 5, you are stuck putting them pages designed for 3. With Album Gen, those problems disappear and I can design pages that give me exactly what I want. I can also design specialty pages for those items in my collection that are unique or have no space in other albums. Also, by printing my own pages, I can insure that every page is of top archival quality which is important to me. You can use any paper or stock you want and design to virtually page size. I have been using this product for over eight years and it really is amazing. For the price, you cannot lose. Give it a try and you will be well rewarded with the experience.

Pros
So easy to use. I made my first page in less than 5 minutes. Seamlessly works with Ezstamp to bring in the stamp images & correct size boxes. Professional pages for my collection now. I can make pages to add missing stamps from my Minkus & Scott albums. I am using it also for my butterfly collection. Install was really fast & easy. If you want to make your own album pages, this is the cream of the crop.
Cons
Manual was pretty good but did not have "how to" section, but this is not that bad as they have video's on their site to show you the basics & get you started pretty quick. I found those pretty useful. The ability to add different page borders is a noce touch.
Summary
Overall, I would recommend this program to any stamp enthusiast who wants to make their own album pages. I bought this right after I got EzStamp & they work really well together. I made an entire Aden & Aland album in less than 30 minutes & they look great. All i have to do now is mount my stamps. Wheee! This is really great software. Highly recommended.

I have their Ezstamp program & I just got albumgen to go with it. It is so easy to make pages now. This will save me so much money now that i can make and print my own pages. I was using word but it was so hard. This program is a snap to use

wish there was more fancy borders. They say they will add more in the future

The BEST !!! I am so happy with this purchase. A MUST for any serious stamp collector who collects topicals ( I like butterfly stamps ) & have created a butterfly album in just a few minutes. I also have a lerge Russia collection & was discouraged by the cost of the annual supplements. Now, I can make my own pages, on time, & put all the stamp I want on the pages. I cannot tell you how happy I am with my purchase. Noreen
