  Easy to use Agree with above user about pros.

  Cons

  Limited functionality seems to be a common thing in most Free-ware. Did run across a huge exception. A program I would even rate 4 stars is on called Gramps. Part of Free community of genealogy ... sort of like OPENOFFICE or Gimp. It is EXTREMELY powerful, fast (python driven), but hard to learn, If you have the IQ, that is the genealogy program to have.

  Hate when people cant do a good job in making everything available. in EVERY language it was set up in. ALSO when I downloaded it, the virus checker went nuts saying it was MALWARE, SPAMMWARE!!! DO NOT PUT INTO YOUR SYSTEM.

• Best of genealogy freeware

  Pros

  -Very simple layout, great for beginners -Can import pictures for people -Allows you to create picture family tree which is often not available in other freeware/free to try

  Cons

  -Does weird compression to pics that are imported -Help file is only in German -Not as complex or programmable as other genealogy software, so advanced users may not like the limits of its functionality -Graphics are dated
