  At the time of this review 5100 people downloaded the program and now know these guys lie about their software to get you to load it. Maybe there are enough fools that don't mind being lied to and will pay to get it to work. NOT ME.

  Cons

  In no way is this a functional software package. It will only convert 15% of a file unless you buy the working version. They lie about it being a free functional version.

  Summary

  Why does Cnet allow this? I advise to avoid any software from companies that lie to you.

  Pros

  This looks like it would be an excellent product, but i haven't finished testing it yet. Installs easy and self contained. Load the program insert a DVD, select the output type and the file location and press the convert key. simple as 123.

  Cons

  Another botched filter rating by the Download.com team (grab a cup of joe and get on the ball people!). This is NOT freeware. It is crippleware. Very few functions work in the trial version until you buy. I suggest Sourceforge.net for free software.
