Advanced WMA Workshop is a useful tool with handy interface, allowing you to encode WAV, MP3, OGG files and Audio CD(jitter correction, CDDB support) to WMA 9 format with variety of format settings and also performs reverse conversion decode MP3 and OGG files to WAV PCM. You can encode and decode audio files one by one, and use built-in batch process in case of mass conversion.

This tool allows you to edit ID3v2 Tags, copy it from one file to another while recoding.

This encoder is very nice, is easy to use and you can even work with .wav and can choose the bit rate you like the most so I would strongly recommend it

when I checked some new songs that I added I couldn't find them but I don't think is a big deal

If you like to set the quality of your rip, and don't want to be limited to JUST CD quality, i recomend this! I have an MP3 player, and I have a lot of space, So I make my MP3's 320kps and 480000 Mhz. They sound really good and use the space. They also have OGG Vorbis, WAV, WMA, MP3, any of those to another or the same and from CD to any of those.

Just becareful of the type of CD you have, It didn't find the right info with CDDB for Green Day; American Idiot. Also, if you dont' buy it, it only lasts 14 days

The product does a conversion between several types of audio formats. That's the good news. The bad news follows.
Cons
The batch feature did not work on the trial version of the software. It also did not work on the registered version. I emailed the company several times They tried to fix the problem; after a while they stopped responding. I think the registration code is bad but they won't return my emails. Without the batch feature the software is almost useless.

Doesn't actually work. <p> <p>No responses to requests for support. <p> <p>Being able to move file names around the interface is all very nice but wholly pointless if you can't actually do anything useful with them when you do so. You can select a whole group of files to convert but then the 'Convert' option is greyed out (this is after paying and registering the software so its not a restriction of the trial version). <p> <p>When selecting files individually it recognised some MP3s but not others even though they were encoded on same encoder with same settings. <p> <p>Have found a free alternative that is easier, quicker, and more robust. <p> <p>I want my money back.

Had the same problem as the last two reviewers - but the most alarming problem was the increasing file size - just to test, I used an MP3 generated by the app, converted it back to a WMA and then back to an MP3 (after renaming the original), and the resulting MP3 was over 1mb larger than the first MP3. LOVED the interface, loved the ease of use, but the output quality and file-growth forced me to give this a thumbs down...
It expanded my file size!

I wanted to convert from WAV to MP3 in order to save disk space. I converted to a downsampled, minimum HZ, mono MP3, and it doubled my filesize. Furthermore, when doing WAV -> WAV conversion, it overwrote the original WAV file (doubling the size) without prompting me! I didn't have this file size explosion with any other conversion software from this site... and I've tried about 6 now.
