  Very fully-featured. Extremely easy to set up. Rock-solid.

  Bare bones support--but who needs it??

  Summary

  I've been running AMS for over 4 years under 3 versions for 4 small domains and a couple dozen mailing lists. I've reinstalled it on 4 different machines, most recently on an EC2 cloud instance (which requires an outbound relay like Dyndns SendLab). I've *never* had a problem. I wish I could say the same of tons of other software I've had to wrestle with!

  Pros

  It is very easy to set up and use has a nice interface. I have tried other mail servers but this one seems to be the best one with a lot of features. It also comes with a very useful help file to help people set this program up.

  Cons

  The price could be lower.

  There are tons and tons of features to this software that make it very attractive - no the least of which is it's price tag.

  Cons

  1 - Very poor cutomer service. Don't bother calling or e-mail them... they don't answer <p> <p>2 - There are back-door holes in thier software that allow hackers to use your mail server as a relay server. When you turn-off that function, you can no longer send mail. <p> <p>3 - It's is a processor hog. <p> <p>4 - The LDAP capability does not work.

  Pros

  First things first great value!!! i evaluated this and "vpop3" at the same time and this, in my books was the best, it has all the features a global company would ever use and the robust stabibilty that the most demanding user could ever wish for.<p>So all in all this is a great piece of software that will hadly cost you anything and will deliver more than expected... Buy again? definatly
