The Lotus Notes to MBOX Converter application migrates multiple Lotus Notes NSF files into the MBOX file format. It allows the batch conversion of IBM Notes e-mails. The program maintains the folder hierarchy during and even after the conversion process. A user can add a folder with multiple NSF files and export all the e-mails from different IBM Notes file folder into the MBOX format. It is required to install the IBM Lotus Notes components on the local system. There isn't any limit on file size, as the tool can export the large-sized files from the database. Lotus Notes 9.0 and the below versions are supported by the product.

SysTools Lotus Notes to MBOX converter software preserves the HTML formatting, docklinks, internet header of NSF e-mails. It also provides an option to remove encryption from Lotus Notes NSF files when converting into MBOX. Users can choose to translate a canonical e-mail into SMTP format with the help of this utility. The resultant MBOX file produced is compatible with various kinds of e-mail clients such as Thunderbird, The Bat, Netscape, Eudora, Entourage, Apple Mail, Opera Mail, etc. An option to map folders is also provided. The attachments of the e-mails remain embedded in their respective files even after being converted into MBOX. The metadata of the e-mails such as Cc, Bcc, sent date, received date, e-mail addresses are also preserved during the conversion. This tool creates a report that provides the details of the process such as the current folder name, e-mail count, name of the file migrated, and the number of folders that have been converted.
