System Mechanic Professional is a full-featured program to help you keep your computer free of problem files and other junk that can impact performance. With an intuitive interface and plenty of options, this program is accessible to users of all experience levels.
Pros
Good explanations: As you work through the program, you'll see plenty of thorough explanations about what types of scans it performs, what types of files it's looking for, and why. This makes it much easier to determine what you want to remove from your machine and how doing so will impact performance.
Full evaluation: Unlike many similar programs, the trial version of System Mechanic Professional gives you the ability to fix the errors the scans find. It's a full-featured trial, and the only limitation is that it expires after 30 days, which is plenty of time to determine whether you want to purchase a license for $69.95.
Cons
No individual selection: When you're viewing the scan results and deciding what to do, you don't have the option of saving specific files. Instead, you just have to trust that the program did a good job of differentiating between items that you need and those you do not.
Bottom Line
System Mechanic Professional provides comprehensive tune-up services for your PC. And because the trial version allows you to access all features of the program, you can really make an informed decision about whether or not to purchase the full app.
