  Pros

  There's probably only 1 time this disk hasn't reinstalled GRUB to allow booting the OSs. Sure. you may have to use the included HELP files to learn how to use it. If using a dual, multiboot system it would be smart to research how to use this first.

  Cons

  Practicing use to learn it. There are only 1 or 2 commands which will hose your computer.

  Summary

  Installed 3 OSs and all it takes is one screwup to leave your computer inaccessible. But i'm just an explorer, have to read the forums to do anything so if I can learn Linux you can too. Installed Wins7 upgrade on a different HDD with XP and had no OS access. Loaded this disc and could access Wins7 immediately. Then installed a Ubuntu 904 OS (Mint 8) and after had my multiboot with Grub. LOVE THIS DISK! It will handle most any boot problem.

  Pros

  Ubuntu loads its virtual operating system from disk which is nice if you know what you are doing.

  Cons

  I do not understand linux and Ubuntu was Greek to me. A corrupt GRUB loader blocked access to my Vista 64 system. Nothing worked including the Super Grub Disk. I got a copy of Vista 64 Ultimate to bootup which gave me access to my computer.

  Summary

  Stay away from Ubuntu if you are a Windows user. Do not dual boot the two operating systems. Ubuntu will highjack your machine if you don't know what your're doing.

  installed on windows 7 after I wrote over the grub

  works well and did job. now it boots straight into grub menu as needed...
