Translate numbers into specific words to help you remember them.
Many mnemonic systems have been developed to aid in remembering numbers. The most prominent of these assigns a unique consonant sound to each digit, 0-9. These sounds are then used to form words or phrases that are more easily remembered than the raw numbers they represent. For example the number 70395 translates into 'example' which, along with the translation rules, is far easier to remember than the number. The 2Know software automates the translation of numbers to words or phrases using a 149,000 entry phonetic dictionary. The user simply enters the number to be translated and a list of candidate words is produced. The user then selects a word. If additional digits need to be translated, additional candidate words are presented for selection. This process is continued until the numeric string is completely translated.
Interesting methodology for creating words that I hadn't thought of before.

Program works very quickly and accurately.

With a little practice, I can see this application being a very useful tool. Probably the best overall number-to-words application I have reviewed so far.
Cons
The methodology is a little hard to understand. You have to memorize a phonetic scheme and apply it for the generated words and phrases to make sense. The computer is NOT going to do all of the thinking for you!

*Not suitable for creating "Phone Number Words" which was my reason for evaluating.
