From project musik :musikCube is much more than an "mp3 player," it is a music "library." musikCube currently supports mp3, ogg, flac, and cd audio file formats. It also features an integrated cd ripper helping you take control of your music from the start. musikCube tries to stay as intuitive and attractive as possible without degrading the performance of your computer. We believe very strongly that your mp3 player should NOT exist only to be eye candy, but be a functional, cohesive part of your operating system. musikCube is the vanilla audio player for windows.

"Best Sounding player I've used"
Pros: As an audiophile with over 80G of cataloged music, I really appreciate the sound quality of this player. As an organizer, it is extremely useful. Being able to easily set up database queries and set them as dynamic playlists is incredible.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Cons: Casey is doing this on his own with the help of a great bunch of community contributors, so progress is slow but steady.

Pros: The best library player out there, built on a sqlite database allowing easy searching and dynamic playlists. A true community project and under very active development

"Exactly what I was looking for - fantastic"
Pros: Sound clarity is fantastic - I experienced no distortion at any level. Library functions that are powerful and useful. Extremely low memory usage. This is a program that does what it should by playing your music files with crsip sound, and by making it incredibly easy to manage those files in any way you want to. Highly recommended.
Cons: For those who prefer to spend more time decorating their desktops then enjoying the music on their hard drive, you may want to look elsewhere. There are plenty of bloated eye candy players out there for you.
