Version: kjClipper 1.5
Pros: KJ Clipper has features that compare well to Abode's more expensive photo editing programs, but is much easier to use. When my 13 year old daughter pasted my son and I into a movie picture with Napoleon Dynamite, and placed our cat into several outdoor adventure photos, I could see this was a fun and easy creative tool for the whole family.

"Highly effective, great price!"
Pros: As a first time editor, I wanted the power to edit my pictures, change the color on my old photos, and have fun creating new blended pictures, but after buying a $850 camera I did not want to spend another hundred plus for a photo editor. KJ Clipper has been a dream come true! The very reasonable price ($29.99) was something I could handle and it has all the functions that a good photo-editing package should have.
At first look the package seemed very simple with few options, when I actually got into using it I found out that there are many options that are opened by right-clicking, or double-clicking.
Every time I use it I come up with new ideas of how to edit my pictures in fun and new ways. This package makes it easy to make the images in my head a reality.
The clipping tool is definitely the highlight of the package. I am able to pull complicated parts of pictures out without a lot of time and/or effort. I also enjoy playing around with the hue and saturation tools to make my pictures really sing.
I would definitely recommend this product to both beginners and experts alike. It has simple tools that scrap bookers can use, like hole-punches, but the clipper and other selection tools can be used for even the most complicated editing jobs.
Cons: It does have a bit of a learning curve, but the tutorial, help section, and explanations at the bottom of the picture frame explain how to use it and I even learned things that I did not know I could do because of it.

Version: kjClipper 1.5
"This package has some uniquely implemented image selection features"
Pros: I was surprised to find this is much more capable than just a "scrap book and family album tool kit". It has some easy to use and adjustable selection features. My sense is that the expensive packages are more ackward to use for selection and arranging of image components.
The adjustment "wrench tool's" ability to select the sensitivity of the edge selection process is what I needed for some topographic and aerial map feature selections. The scaling capability and multiple object handling are much more than I expected for what I thought was just a $30 class program.
Cons: KJ is new and a work-in-progress effort. I guess I would like to see more help examples but I expect they will be forthcomming as it progresses to later releases.

"By far the most capable imaging package I've seen for under $200 - truly amazing"
Pros: With a price of only $29.95, it's easy to get the wrong idea about this remarkable new entry into the imaging software market. This is not a simplistic product capable of only superficial image manipulation. Rather, it's a feature-rich imaging product with capabilities one would not expect to see for under $200. Not only is it easier to use than Elements, but the degree of control and achievable result are beyond anything I've seen without spending much more. The object isolation and cloning tools, in particular, are far superior to Elements. As a fairly serious photographer, I would not be without this remarkable package!
Cons: It's too bad a Mac version is not yet available - perhaps down the road . . .

"Powerful features - easy to grab and alter objects"
Pros: I have been a happy user of KJ Clipper ever since buying version 1.2. I have just tried the latest version, 1.5, and it offers many more tools. I am most impressed with how easy it is to clip and select objects and then photo edit them individually. Its approach to arranging and grouping objects is so much easier than working with layers. I have built up my own collection of clip files from family photos and internet pictures that I reuse in scrapbooks and collages. What's most fun is when my kids surprise me with trick photography that they made with the program. Congratulations to the KJ Clipper team for making such a powerful and easy to use photo editor! -Scrapbook Enthusiast
