Users can send text IM in a chat like way, call a contact by phone, or even send an SMS to a contact. Moreover the position of each contact can be seen on the map at any time and it is continuously updated. Android jChat features contacts management, persistence, real time localization, multiple chat sessions handling, support for chat with many contacts in a single session, and mocked SMS sending and phone call to contacts.
