Publisher's description
From D&C Software Solutions :jAscii is a powerful Java decompiler. It converts binary Java class files into Java source files. jAscii is useful for recovery of lost source codes. jAscii is pure Java application. Main features: support for inner and anonymous classes, supports java 2 platform (jdk1.2, jdk1.3, jdk1.4), supports Swing applet and application, supports Java servlet and EJB, supports JAR/ZIP format.
jAscii reads and analyzes Java bytecode to form a flow chart. jAscii determines which Java statements (for, while, if, switch, etc) can match this flow chart best. The resulting code is the optimized code which may not be identical to the original.

Version: jAscii 1.0.20
Pros: Is useful as a java decompiler.
Cons: Costs about $90 more than it should. I bought a java tutorial book with a decompiler on a free CD for $10.00. Even without a free CD it should cost less than this. While it may serve its function, this has got to be the biggest attempt at a rip-off I've ever Seen!!!
