From Hunter Downs :The Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression (CES-D) scale is a short (20 questions) self-report scale designed to measure depressive symptoms. Similarly, Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale for Children (CES-DC) is a modified version of the adult Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale. The CES-DC is a 20-item self-report depression inventory with possible scores ranging from 0 to 60. The inDSx application provides iPhone / iTouch compatible electronic versions of both scales and is intended for clinicians. Once completed, a report consisting of the questions, answers, and score can be sent to the email address of choice.
