"Great software, terrible service and support"

It looks good and fairly simple to use. Was happy using it for a couple of months until it rejects my serial
Cons
Terrible support service means I am left with a program that I paid for that I can't use as its rejected my serial. Have been resent my serial a couple of times but this does not help
Summary
After purchasing the software I was able to use if to watermark images for my site, everything looking good. Then program stops working says my serial is not valid. Have reported this and been resent my original serial but its still saying this is invalid. Repeated questions are getting silence.
Following my last posting the iWatermark team did get back to me, and to their credit did resolve the problem. The replacement serial they had sent was actually different to my original serial which once I got it worked fine. Took a long time to get this resolved, but the software is otherwise very user friendly and aesthetically pleasing. Based on this I am trying to change my rating from 1 star too 4 star, would get 5 if they had better customer support.
Feel like my money has been wasted. Disappointing with an otherwise nice product. But its left unusable for me now.
Any suggestions on free-ware that can perform a similar function would be appreciated.

Pros
This is a great watermarking program! I took the time to familiarize myself and since it has been easy to use. It works well for watermarking many photos at once as well as keeping them organized. Amazing it only costs $20! Way to go PlumAmazing!
Cons
The manual could be more thorough but the support was prompt and helpful. I was told that there will be a new version out soon and a new manual!

iWatermark is a very nice time saver. I used to batch process photos in Photoshop using actions... it was a nightmare... iWatermark is very nicely put together. Plus I think the guy who wrote the software has VERY good customer support! It may take him a day or two, but he has always been there to help me out. -

I was too hasty with my negative feedback yesterday. I was contacted by the developer who solved my issue with the program and I am quite satisfied. The program works perfectly and does what it says it does. The speed of the program is superb - this is something I could not test because of the crashes i experienced with the program. Now, after the developer got in touch with me and fixed my issues, I have to say that I really like this program and I purchased it straight away. Thanks and I apologize for the hasty poor review from yesterday. I deleted it and am posting a new review.

May be a "one-trick pony", but that's all i want. A simple app that does its valuable service quickly and well, without being bloated. By the way it also does a nice job of scaling images too. -

Not to discourage the programmer but I find little need for this program at any price, let alone 20 dollars. I will go through the points in order to help the programmer maybe make a better program.
1. Overpriced - All this program does is tack you name on you pictures. This could be done in many other programs. If you do nothing else to the program....drop the price.
2. One Trick Pony - Adding a watermark is all this program does. A watermark that could easily be taken out of the image. How is that protecting my work? A method like digimark uses would be much more useful, something that encodes my information in the picture data...unseen but can be read no matter if the file is edited.
3. Sloppy - The program does not clean up after itself. It leaves a temp file in the directory that the file is output. Even after quitting the temp file is still there!
4. Control - More control over placement, opacity and many other factors would be nice. Since this all the program does, it should do it better than anything else. At 20 bucks it should be the "go to" program for jobs like this. At this point it is not.
The 20 dollars spent on this program would be better spent on a more capable image editor that could do what this program does and much more. Even with a simple image editor and a copy of Quickeys would be more powerful than this program. That said I do think that this program with some care and much more programming could become a very useful program and worth the money. It is not there yet, I hope the program takes the criticism of the program as it was intended, to be frank and honest and constructive. -

Runtime errors all over the place and it continually reads "Nothing to do". I don't know if the "nothing to do" is a limitation until registered but I'm not paying for software I can't test first.
