iVideoMax is a video-file conversion solution, which allows you to convert video files, split or join them, create new ones from a sequence of separate images, and preview the results. The application's features include the ability to export your movie into a sequence of pictures and burn a video CD from MPEG files. The supported video formats are AVI (DivX, XviD, MPEG-4, uncompressed, and Cinepak), MPEG (MPEG-1, MPEG-2, VCD, SVCD, PAL, NTSC), WMV, QuickTime MOV, RealMedia, DVD, and ASF.

Version 3.5 features a major improvement on video creation from images. With the improvement, one can set the background music and create video from a sequence of images. A list of video compression methods and frame rate also is available.

"Despite it's limits they put on it, it is a great all around converter."

Pros: High quality conversion, and a large amount of formats are supported.

Cons: Can be very slow, and the demo version does not burn vcd's
