iTunesRemote for Mac

This application will run iTunes from a remote computer with either a Rendezvous name or an ip address of the other computer. The Rendezvous name is more reliable. Right now the application is very simple and may crash several times because of the lack of error handlers, but I want to see if the idea is good or not.

Writing in applescript is no easy task, and the remote part of it is crazy. Please provide feedback on the site so that I may see what people think. And don't say "We already have iTunes remotes!"

I know that, just test it for me (being as I have limited time, and I am going out of town for a while). I am trying to keep the remote simple, but I also want to support every feature of iTunes.

Second release features (detailed):

• play/pause
• next
• back (functions like a CD player)
• volume (iTunes, not system)
• visual play counter (not numeric)
• currently refreshes every 2 seconds
• exit on window close
• drop down list of available tracks for play
• notification of what playlist is currently being used

  What's new in this version: Uses iTunes' buttons. Smaller. Alerts that it is loading. Watch for the playlist selctor in the next few weeks.
