"Great program and functionality, but missing a little."

Pros
The program works well, and quickly. I ripped about 70 gigs of music in a couple of hours, and it retained the album art. It was very easy to understand the interface.
Cons
The interface, though is to understand, is not flashy at all. My main concern is that it doesn't extract the "ratings", or the "plays" and "skips" counts. I try to rate every song, and the ratings matter a lot to me. So, I'm really irked that I have to redo all of that. But, I can deal with it.
Summary
iRipper is a solid program, lacking flash and bloatware. It rips quickly, and efficiently. It even retains the album art. However, it does not extract the extra data, like "ratings", which are important to me. Perhaps that might come in later versions.

Everything worked just the way it was supposed to. Needed songs from my old nano on my computer and it did it within a few minutes.

no maximum number of transfers, and it's all free. Easy to use interface - it's not pretty/fancy, but very logical and it allows you to select music based on title, artist or album (or all)

NONE! won't earn any awards for graphic design, but who cares?
Summary
I downloaded a bunch of other programs to get music off my ipod, doing 100 at a time (as most will have you purchase the software after that). iRipper was definitely the best - there's no limit to how many songs you can move iPod>PC, and no registration or demo software. It's pretty fast, 800 songs took maybe 4 minutes onto the PC, about 10 onto a flash drive. Only negative is that I found it about 2 hours into the process of trying to get music off my iPod!
