This program offers most of the necessary features for spying on other users. iOpus Starr PC and Internet Monitor offers two installation modes: a normal one and a stealth one that will make the program nearly invisible. Still, since the demo displays a message warning that the program is running, most users will realize they're being watched. On the plus side, we didn't manage to disable the program via the Task Manager or uninstall it without calling it out of hiding, but we still wish you could password-protect it. In terms of features iOpus Starr PC and Internet Monitor provides most features we look for in this type of software. It logs keystrokes and applications used, and it takes screenshots of PC activities at user-defined intervals. Of course, you can have reports e-mailed to you, or you can simply view them on your local machine. Folks seeking a functional PC-monitoring tool with good security measures might have a look at this utility.Publisher's description
From iOpus Software :iOpus Starr is an advanced desktop-security monitoring tool. It contains a keyboard logger so powerful, it even logs the keystrokes typed during the Windows 2000/XP login. The application is able to make its files and settings inaccessible for any Windows application (including cleaner software). It is software that stores everything (even the screenshots) in one single, 256-bit-encrypted log file using the strong U.S. government approved 256-bit AES/Rijndael encryption. Your sensitive activity data is secure against unauthorized access and use. In the stealth mode, Starr does not show up in the system tray, taskbar, or task list--not even in Windows Task Manager Processes list. For remote surveillance of networked PCs, Starr can invisibly e-mail the log file to another PC via any standard e-mail account or save the log directly to the server using any local area network (LAN).
Version 5.00.115 features unspecified improvements and bug fixes.

Version: iOpus Starr PC and Internet Monitor 5.00.115
"Removal deleted important files, Trial not "hidden" on PC, Too $$"
Pros: Uhhhh...sorry.
Cons: This product was put on my PC as a way of finding out if they were responsible of something unethical. (Yes, the irony/hypocracy of spying, I know.) The trial version notice pops up on any account at least ever 30 minutes. MAJOR CON!! I logged the files to a hidden folder on my PC. When I removed the program it asks if I want the files deleted. I chose 'Yes' it then deleted all the files PLUS the folder above which had all my passwords. The deleted files were not in the Recycle bin. There is a $39 program that is much better. The email logs sent were cryptic, uninformative.

"The 30 day trial is not what it is cracked up to be"
Summary: You cannot try this software without alerting other computer users because of the nag screen. If they really want you to try it; they should let you try it without that for the 30 days.
