Version: iMiser Research Assistant 3.1 build 1073
"Works well as an offline research browser"
Pros: mostly it works very well, has some nice features. User interface takes a little time to get use to...can be customized. I bought the paid version after trial and although it took a full day to receive the subsciption key code, I received an email apoligizing for the delay due to server being down. I have used it effectively for college research projects.
Cons: I had an antispyware alert on a file associated with program.

Version: iMiser Research Assistant 3.1 build 1073
Pros: Performs very well and works with every browser I tried. It doesn't integrate with the browser, instead it has a little pelican icon that floats on top of the browser. I'm glad it's not an add-in or plug-in because I've had problems with that type of program. I've even had one plug-in that disabled IE.
Cons: I found a web page that this program couldn't save completely. Their tech support responded quickly and tested the url. It turns out that some pages are designed not to be saved (copyright issues?). Even IE couldn't save it!

Version: iMiser Research Assistant 3.1 build 1073
Pros: This program has a lot of interesing features, including features I've never seen in any other program. It's perfect for web research, but it's also great as a web archiving tool. Plus, it works with a number of browsers. This is important to me because I'm using Internet Explorer less and less and starting to use Firefox. It has a yellow highlighter for pages you save. You just select some text and right click it. It's the only program I've seen that has a tutorial displayed when you first open it, so you can get started right away. It even has flash animations in the tutorial. Great program!
Cons: I've used iMiser Research Assistant for about 10 days now and saved hundreds of web pages and text snippets and I haven't had any problems.
