"Doing backups and syncing my iPod"

by daviddo on December 3, 2005

Pros: Very unique concept of backup, instead of giving you an option to create a backup CD (which nobody uses) or paying for storage site and uploading for hours ahhh..... this application copies files from one PC to any other PC over the Internet. I'm backuping all my pictures from my laptop to my old PC at home, it took me 2 seconds to set it up and it works even when I leave my laptop at work. Now I can be sure that I have my pictures on at least two places. I'm using the same concept to sync my iPod when the MP3s are on my laptop at work and I'm running iTune on my home PC.

Cons: Documentation for this feature is bad, it took me sometimes to understand this concept.

"The best off/on-line media management tool out there"

by danaviv on November 28, 2005

Pros: I'm using iFunPix for more than 6 month now - it is truly a new way to manage personal media. It offers almost the same functionality as Picasa and Adobe with a major advantage that I can access everything also from remote (all my 12,000 photos and MP3 from the office!!! ), I can share the weekend photos with my family without uploading and backup my entire 20GB to my office PC.

Cons: Features like redeye fixing is missing, also can't do auto contrast

"Excellent product, very easy to use & manage"

by doronca on November 28, 2005

Pros: Sharing photos is instant - there is no

need to upload anything ! The moment you create a collection it is ready to be shared. I like the ability to access all my photos, mp3 from remote locations.

The program supports other languages than English so you can name your collections/pictures/mp3 the way you like to. If you're looking for a way to share your photos and remotely organize them (without printing facilities though) then you've come to the right place !

Cons: The folders on disk view shows you all folders in the same level making it too long list to follow. It would've been easier if it has been like Windows explorer.

When you're not online your friends can't view your collections what might be a problem for people living in different time zones and shut down their pc over the night.
