"Don't PAY for this product!"
Version: iCopyExpert 3.1.3
Pros
i was able to transfer my music from my IPOD to my computer using the free version, but not my playlists
Cons
I PURCHASED in order to transfer my playlists.Nowhere to enter my "registration key", tech/customer support was a joke. Told me to download again which I did and nothing. WASTE of 25$. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS YOU WILL REGRET IT.
Summary
Doesn't transfer playlists as said, no money back guarantee as said, no customer/technical support,
I did purchase COPYTRANS for 19.99 and that copied all my music and my playlists. I recommend it as an alternative. I was also just refunded by IcopyExpert after emailing them many times including these CNET reviews in my demands for a refund.

"Its a scam"
Version: iCopyExpert 3.1.3
Pros
There is nothing of value to this software.
Cons
There is no tech support provided. They charge you immediately but don't support the product. There are no detailed instructions other than how to enter in the license name and license key. No troubleshooting guide, etc...
Summary
There is no tech support provided. I sent an email to "support2@icopyexpert.com" on 5/12/10 and still have not received a response. I followed the instructions and entered my license name and license key. I highlighted all of my music and created a new folder to put it all in. A box popped up saying, "copy finished, 495 songs copied to computer". When I tried to import the folder into i-tunes, nothing is there. I tried opening itunes, clicking on add folder to library, clicking on desktop, then the folder I save to and I received a message saying, "no items match your search". Yet, in the icopy screen, in the bottom left corner, it says, "ipod plugged 495 songs". I went to their website, clicked on support and then on their email address and a box opened up saying, "call was rejected by callee". This was on 5/12/10 and I still haven't received any sort of response.

"Absolute rubbish - does not work.Don't waste yr money!"
Version: iCopyExpert 3.1.3
Pros
Nothing good to say about this product. Biggest waste of money I've ever spent.
Cons
This program simply does not work. It only copies half your tracks and DESPITE what they tell you in the blurb, it does not copy playlists.
Summary
The only reason I bought it was for copying playlists - and it won't even do that. If you have ticked 'disk enabled' on your ipod before your computer went haywire you can do it everything else manually easily and for free anyway. I emailed the (lack of) 'helpdesk' (5 times!) and got zero response. Please don't waste your money on this piece of rubbish. Buy another piece of software (I did afterwards) - there's plenty out there, and much better!
