Version: iCall 2.0.0.38
Pros: I like the voicemail and everything.
-
Version: iCall 2.0.0.38
Pros: Unlimited free incoming calls;
It costs only local rates for the caller;
Almost entire USA supported'
Receive calls from anywhere in the world for free;
Dial for 5 min to anywhere in USA for free ( so that you can give them your access number so that they can call you back as their local call!)
Cons: Outgoing call is free only for 5 min;
It gets disconnected often in the middle of conversation and need to reconnect again (I'm not sure if it is to limit the free calls)

Version: iCall 2.0.0.38
Pros: All the services you need are free. Clear reception. Voicemail options are nice. Clean GUI. You have your own extension for incoming calls. Friendly forum support.
Cons: Feels infantile at the moment. You may have problems loading the program (which is common among users). Has a few very specific and annoying bugs; Somtimes results in constantly reloading the program over and over. The program itself has very little configuration options.

"Product works, but claims are incomplete/misleading"
Pros: ease of use
voice quality is ok
Cons: no documentation
Sure, it's free, and it works fairly easily and with fair quality. What they don't tell you anywhere up front or in their KnowledgeBase is that free calls are limited to FIVE MINUTES. How do you discover that? The first time you make a call that reaches the limit - you're just disconnected with no warning. I don't know what other limits there are to the free service, and I'm not hanging around to find out.
